Routine has to be consistent. It takes practice to form & habits to create. Don’t you feel refreshed when you’re able to wake up early & get your usual days worth of errands done in what feels like 3 hours? So why aren’t you doing that everyday?
Start challenging yourself to have more than 7 days in your week. You will feel 10x more accomplished and your mindset will start to GRAVITATE towards optimism. The progress that you have been waiting to see will shine.
It is time to stop wasting your days away and start gaining your power back. Don’t wait until the day comes where you have no choice but to look back and say “Wow, I should have started right then & there”.
Follow this guide, incorporate these tips that I am sharing, and you are bound to get ahead in no time.
Wake Up Earlier
By saying this, I don’t mean wake up at 7 a.m. rather than your usual 9 a.m., I mean wake up at 5 a.m. The minute you see even a hair of sunlight you should be jumping out of bed to get your day started. This is going to be difficult to achieve at first, so consistency has to be your friend. Using a daily planner or journal can help you actually see your progress after a long day, and it can help you set goals for the next day so that you have something to look forward to when you wake up. Get that morning routine started as well, you may discover that you like waking up before the city does. Find out what you love about mornings and embrace it. Manage Your Time Better
The key to having good time management is writing out and planning. Don’t just do busy work, set yourself a schedule. You need to know what you will be doing with your days because if not, minor distractions will pop up and your day will get clustered. Next thing you know, those necessary tasks that you planned to do will have to wait, again. Let’s stop being that person and let’s stay focused in the moment.
Waking up early also helps manage your time better. Prioritize and get those things that you don’t want to do out of the way. If you are waking up at 5, then by 12 p.m., you will have completed SEVEN HOURS of productivity, that is almost a whole work day. You will feel absolutely extraordinary! Give yourself a break to allow yourself to decompress. After this, you will be ready to tackle the rest of your day. Don’t give up, because a wise man once said, “You don’t stop when you’re tired, you stop when you’re done”.
Set Your Phone Away
Having your phone near you will very much likely cause you to pick it up & start scrolling on social media. This kills time way too quickly causing you to get out of your zone & into a slump. Set a specific time for other people & communication. These days are not for anyone but YOU. Stop giving your days to everyone else and watching people on social media who don't even know who you are. Turn on that Do Not Disturb button and get moving!
Don’t Overwhelm Yourself
Perfecting this will take time. Getting into a routine and seeing what you can accomplish during those long hours will be challenging. I am not telling you to overwork yourself until you pull your hair out, I am simply asking you to just do more because your days are valuable. You have to use your time wisely and with intention because you can’t get it back. You should be achieving things that are beneficial to you. Do not try to tackle everything at once because you will burn yourself out. Most importantly, make sure you are including some you-time such as self care & healthy habits because YOU come first. Rest days are still as important.
Stop storing away all of your unlimited potential. You have NO IDEA the amount of things you can accomplish in such little time. Allow yourself to ease into this daily routine. Giving up is not an option anymore. Let’s be successful together. LET’S START NOW!
